With the help of our Travel Management team, one year after the opening of an agro-innovation centre in the area of Gorna Mitropoliya village (Pleven district) we organized the event “Day of the Sustainable Agriculture”. Building of a tent, catering for the guests, presentation about the importance and need of preservation of the biodiversity, aerial photographing and video recording with a drone over a demo field with area of 50 decares, invited journalists to broadcast the event.
The primary aim of the meeting was to represent to the farmers a practical method for enhancement of their work and the affordable solutions they could implement in their farms in order to practice sustainable agriculture.
In the framework of the event a demonstration was made of the use of anti-drift nozzles reducing the dispersion of a plant protection product while spraying the cultures.
What happened after the field presentation? A well-deserved lunch for all guests – farmers and journalists who continued debating on and discussing hot topics for the sector regarding plant protection.
